OnePlus may launch Apple AirTag rival, OnePlusTag: Report – Times of India

BBK-owned consumer technology brand OnePlus is soon expected to launch a new product that will rival Apple’s recently launched AirTag.
According to a report by DroidMaze, a listing has been spotted that shows that the parent company of OnePlus has registered a new trademark that reads “OnePlusTag”.
The report claims that the trademark has been filed on May 18, 2021, with registration number 56159145.
No other information about the alleged OnePlusTag has been mentioned so far and it is likely that if such a product is in the works, it would happen with the launch of the OnePlus 9 T later this year.
The company is already scheduled to host its summer launch event on June 10, and so far has not teased any kind of tracker launch.
On June 10, the company is set to launch its second Nord smartphone — OnePlus Nord CE 5G — along with a new OnePlus smart TV — OnePlus TV U1S. Both these devices will be available via Amazon as the e-commerce giant has been teasing the two.
As per recent rumours, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G smartphone has appeared on benchmark listing site Geekbench under model number EB2103 revealing that the smartphone is rumoured to offer up to 12GB of RAM.
The listing shows that the phone will be powered by a Qualcomm chip codenamed ‘lito’. The processor will offer a base frequency of 1.80GHz. Rumours claim that the OnePlus Nord CE 5G may come powered by Snapdragon 750G SoC. As per the benchmark site, the handset scored 621 and 1789 scores in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
Other alleged specs of the OnePlus Nord CE 5G include an AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution, punch-hole camera and 90Hz refresh rate.
