oneplus: OnePlus 10 Pro launch today: How to watch the live stream of the event – Times of India

Chinese smartphone maker Oneplus has scheduled an event to launch the OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone. The event will be live-streamed on YouTube as well as the OnePlus website. You can either watch the livestream on the company’s website or at the official OnePlus or OnePlus India YouTube channel which is scheduled to start today (March 31) at 7.30 pm IST. Considering this to be a major launch event by OnePlus, the company is going to introduce two more products apart from its flagship smartphone — the OnePlus 10 Pro. There has been a lot of buzz around the upcoming OnePlus flagship phone and several leaks and rumours helped us to know more about the device.
Three products are expected to be launched at today’s event. Amongst them, the showstopper will be the OnePlus 10 Pro, the company’s flagship phone to compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S22+ and the iPhone 13. Apart from that, OnePlus is also expected to launch the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2 earphones at the event. These budget earphones are likely to come out with a neckband style design. Moreover, the company may also launch a silver variant of the OnePlus Buds Pro at the event. The price of the new colour option of these TWS earbuds is expected to be the same as the regular ones.
OnePlus 10 Pro expected price and availability
OnePlus 10 Pro is expected to carry a similar price tag as the OnePlus 9 Pro. The base variant of the upcoming smartphone is likely to be priced between Rs 60,000 to Rs 65,000, while the top variant may cost over Rs 70,000. However, this price doesn’t come under the affordable segment, yet it will compete with major flagships which are even more expensive.
Amazon has already listed the upcoming OnePlus 10 Pro on its e-commerce platform before the launch and is expected to go on its first sale on April 5, 2022. The phone is likely to be available in two colour options — Emerald Forest and Volcanic Black.
OnePlus 10 Pro expected specifications
OnePlus 10 Pro is expected to feature a 6.7-inch QHD + AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor that may support 1300 nits peak brightness and will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. The smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor backed with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage.
The handset is likely to house a triple rear camera setup that includes — a 48MP Sony IMX789 sensor, a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 ultra-wide sensor and an 8MP telephoto lens. The handset may also have a 32MP front shooter for selfies and video calls.
OnePlus 10 Pro may pack a 5000mAh battery with 80W Super Flash Charging along with a Dolby Atmos speaker. For connectivity, the phone is expected to support 5G, Wi-Fi 6, NFC and a USB Type-C port.
