Oppo has launched a new limited edition of its flagship smartphone — Reno 8 Pro 5G — in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products. The special edition is dubbed as House of the Dragon Limited Edition Set based on the successor of the TV series Game of Thrones.

Reno 8 Pro, the limited-edition set will feature House of Dragon-themed accessories including a special phone case, a SIM ejector pin, a keychain, a phone holder and a special collectable dragon egg. Buyers will also get an exclusive scroll with a message that anoints them with the epic saga of House Targaryen.

Oppo Reno 8 Pro House of the Dragon Limited Edition Set will be available on Flipkart at Rs 45,999 starting December 13. Buyers will be able to pre-book the Limited-Edition Set starting December 8.

The special edition Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G features similar specifications as the regular model. There’s no change in terms of features and specifications of the special edition.
The Reno 8 Pro 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The display also supports HDR10+. The handset is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max chipset.
The handset comes in a single RAM and storage variant of 12GB and 256GB onboard storage.
The handset runs Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 operating system out-of-the-box. Further, the Reno 8 series features a 2.2x larger vapour cooling chamber compared to the Reno 7 series.
As for the optics, Reno 8 Pro is equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, an 8MP IMX355 ultrawide unit and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, the smartphone has a 32MP Sony IMX709 sensor for selfies.
The Reno 8 Pro comes with the MariSilicon X NPU. Oppo’s in-house NPU claims to improve low-light 4K video quality and enables 4K HDR video recording.
The smartphone is backed by a 4500mAh battery with support for 80W SuperVOOC charging. Oppo claims that the SuperVOOC charger can top up 50 per cent of its battery in 11 minutes.
