Oppo may launch its first Android tablet next year – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Oppo showcased a concept rollable smartphone last year. But at that time the company said that it has no plans to mass manufacture and sell the smartphone. It was also reported that the company is also trying to make a foldable smartphone first.
At a recent event, Oppo VP Liu Bo hinted that the company is working on both foldable and rollable smartphones, but has no specific plans to launch either of them. However, now an online report suggests that Oppo is all set to enter a new market soon.
After Realme, Oppo is all set to launch its first tablet in the first half of 2022. According to a report by Digital Chat Station, Oppo is developing a ColorOS for tablets with a dock, desktop widgets and more. The upcoming Oppo tablet is said to compete with the Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6.
Last month, Oppo launched its ColorOS 12 based on Android 12. The company claims that the ColorOS 12 will offer an unburdened experience with smart technology. The new UI layer comes with new design and enhanced privacy and security features. The new ColorOS 12 comes with a brand-new style acrylic icon, borderless design and new interface frame.
The latest OS skin from Oppo comes with a responsive design system and grid layout. ColorOS 12 offers quick-view cards or widgets. With the new OS skin users can now add widget components they need like smart car search, nearby shops, IoT equipment and other.
