oppo: Oppo Reno 8 Lite launching in Europe soon; Tipped to be a rebranded Reno 7 Lite – Times of India

Oppo is reportedly set to introduce the Reno 8 series with the Reno 8 Lite. The smartphone series is expected to debut in Europe soon. However, there is a catch – the Reno 8 Lite is said to be a rebranded Reno 7 Lite, as per a report from WinFuture.
Interestingly, the Reno 7 Lite, which is expected to be launched as Reno 8 Lite in Europe, is, in turn, a rebadged version of Reno 7 Z 5G. Also, the Reno 7 Lite is already available in a few European regions such as Czechia, Hungary, Romania, and Slovakia. It is not clear why Oppo is launching the same old hardware thrice, and we also don’t know if it will launch in other countries or not.
OPPO Reno8 Lite: Specifications (rumoured)
The Reno 8 Lite is rumoured to feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with 1,080 x 2,400 pixels resolution and a cornered punch-hole cutout. The Snapdragon 695 chipset may power the smartphone. Under the hood, the chipset is expected to be paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, expandable via a microSD card. The Oppo Reno 8 Lite could pack in a 45000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
The optics on the Oppo Reno 8 Lite will reportedly include a 64MP primary camera on the back coupled with two 2MP auxiliary cameras. On the front, it is said to come with a 16MP camera housed inside the punch-hole cutout.
OPPO Reno8 Lite: Price (rumoured)
There is no word on the pricing and availability of the Reno 8 Lite in Europe or any other regions. But we expect it to be priced similarly to the Reno7 Lite, which costs €380 (Rs 30,661).
