PS5: Sony PS5 pre-booking to start from May 27 on Vijay Sales – Times of India

Electronics retail chain Vijay Sales has announced that it would begin the pre-booking of Sony PS5 consoles from May 17, 12 pm onwards. The company has also posted banners regarding this update on its official website and social media handles.
The next-gen console by Sony comes in two models: Standard Edition and Digital Edition. However, the brand has made only the former available to Indian consumers, which is claimed to be priced at Rs 49,990.
The Sony PlayStation5 arrived in June 2020. It comes in a dual-tone design with a mix of Back and White — along with the Blue LED lights surrounding the air vents at the top. There’s the new PlayStation logo at the top left corner and front apart from that glossy finish houses 1-regular and 1 Type-C port.
Sony earlier confirmed five games and their prices in India. These include Demon’s Souls at Rs 4,999, Destruction Allstars at 4,999, Marvel Spiderman Miles Morales: Ultimate Edition at Rs 4,999, Sackboy A Big Adventure at Rs 3,999 and Marvel Spiderman: Miles Morales at Rs 3,999.
Some of the other games that have been confirmed for the PlayStation 5 are Horizon Forbidden West, Gran Turismo 7, Returnal, Bugsnax, Godfall and more.
Karan Gupta, director, Vijay Sales, said, “We are delighted to initiate the pre-booking of PS5 console and deliver it to consumers by ensuring compliance with all the safety protocols amid the lockdown. The product is short in stock while its demand is skyrocketing in the market. There are high chances for it to go out of stock within a few minutes. Hence, we would suggest all the fans gear up and be ready to grab it as soon as the pre-booking goes live.”
