Realme GT 2 Master Edition confirmed to launch in July: Expected specifications, price – Times of India

Realme’s next flagship – the GT 2 Master Edition – has been doing the rounds of the internet for quite some time now. The smartphone has already appeared on TENNA and 3C certification portals. Now, the company has confirmed that the GT 2 Master Edition is launching next month i.e. July.
In a Weibo post, Realme teased the launch of GT 2 Master Edition and the smartphone will launch in July. The company has already confirmed that the GT 2 Master Edition will be powered by Qualcomm’s new top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. We expect the company to confirm the date this week but rumours are rife that the GT 2 Master Edition will launch on July 7th.
Realme GT 2 Master Edition: Specifications, price (expected)
The GT 2 Master Edition is rumoured to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a centred punch-hole cutout for a 32MP selfie camera. The display might have an FHD+ resolution of 1080×2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Realme’s upcoming smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The chipset might be paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a maximum of 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Further, it is rumoured to boast a 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging.
Further, the GT 2 Master Edition may come with the same camera setup as the GT 2 Pro. So, we can expect it to sport a triple camera setup comprising a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor and a 3MP 20mm equivalent microscope camera. As mentioned before, the smartphone might come with a 32MP front camera.
