realme: Realme 9 Pro+ receives BIS certification, expected to launch soon in India – Times of India

EW DELHI: Realme is soon expected to launch a new smartphone in India. The company is said to launch the Realme 9 Pro+ smartphone in the country. The company will reportedly launch the smartphone in the first quarter of 2022. Realme is said to launch four smartphones under the Realme 9 series — Realme 9, Realme 9i, Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+. All the smartphones are expected to come with a Qualcomm processor and AMOLED displays.
According to a tweet by popular tipster Mukul Sharma, Realme 9 Pro+ comes with model number RMX3392 and the smartphone has received BIS certification. This hints that the company might soon launch the smartphone in India. The company was earlier expected to launch the smartphone this year, but it is now pushed to next year due to the global semiconductor shortage.

The smartphone maker has not yet revealed any specifications of these smartphones. However, rumours suggest that the company’s Realme smartphone is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor and support 5G connectivity. Realme 9 Pro+ is said to sport a 108MP main camera and feature an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Meanwhile, Realme has confirmed the name of its upcoming flagship smartphone. Realme CEO Sky Li recently confirmed that the smartphone maker is planning to enter the high-end smartphone market. Li said that the company will now also focus on making smartphones priced over $800 (Rs 59,500).
Now, Li has confirmed the name of the first premium flagship smartphone from Realme. The first expensive smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer will be called — Realme GT 2 Pro.
