realme: Realme 9 series smartphones surfaces on multiple certification websites, suggest imminent launch – Times of India

Realme is yet to make an official announcement regarding the launch of its upcoming Realme 9 series smartphones. However, these smartphones have suddenly started surfacing on multiple certification sites suggesting an imminent launch.
Previous leaks and reports have confirmed that there could be four models under the series allegedly called Realme 9, Realme 9i, Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+.
A recent leak, however, suggests that the Realme 9i could get rebranded as Realme Narzo 9i.
In addition to that, camera specifications of the Realme 9 Pro and 9i have surfaced online. The Realme 9 Pro camera details has surfaced on Camera FV-5, while the 9i details have been revealed through the NTBC certification listing.
The detailed specs of the main and the selfie 9 Pro+ cameras come courtesy of Camera FV-5, while the 9i’s information comes from the NTBC (Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission) certification site.
As per the report, the Realme 9 Pro+ is expected to feature a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture which will be pixel-binned to 12.6MP resolution. On the front, the smartphone will reportedly feature a 16MP sensor which will be binned to a 4MP resolution. The Camera FV-5 listing does not reveal any details about the other sensors of the smartphone.
Previous leaks and rumours have also revealed key features and specs of the Realme 9i. According to the reports, the smartphone will feature a 6.6-inch FHD+ 90Hz display, 16MP front camera along with 50MP + 8MP + 2MP cameras at the back. The smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680SoC paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone will be backed by a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support and side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
