Reliance Jio Rs 98 plan for prepaid users is back, here’s what it includes – Times of India

Telecom company Reliance Jio re-introduced a prepaid plan that it had discontinued last year in May.
The plan — Rs 98 prepaid pack — is now back on the list of popular plans and available for Reliance Jio prepaid users to activate. This plan is now the most affordable plan for Reliance Jio prepaid users.
Reliance Jio Rs 98 prepaid plan: What it includes
As per the information on Jio’s website, the Rs 98 prepaid plan offers 1.5GB data per day. Once the limit is reached, it can be used at 64Kbps speed. Along with this, the plan offers unlimited voice calling and complimentary subscriptions to Jio apps. All this is valid only for 14 days as part of this plan.
While the company has re-launched the plan, it has reduced the validity from what it used to offer before. Earlier, the plan came with a validity of 28 days, however, now that has been reduced to half.
Recently, the company announced new benefits for users of its JioPhone. As part of the benefits, JioPhone users who are unable to recharge their devices due to the ongoing pandemic will get 300 additional minutes of outgoing voice calling free per month “for the entire period of the pandemic.” In terms of per day capacity, this breaks down to 10 minutes, as per the telco.

The company had also said that it is offering an additional recharge plan of the same value for free on its mobile plans for the JioPhone. For instance, if a JioPhone user buys a Rs 75 plan recharge plan, he or she will get a Rs 75 plan free.
“JioPhone was launched with the mission to provide a digital life to every Indian. In these unprecedented times of the Covid pandemic, we at Jio want to ensure that staying connected remains accessible and affordable for all customers, especially the less-privileged sections of our society,” said the company in a statement.
