It’s going to be a year since we lost Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Just days ahead of his first death anniversary, Rhea Chakraborty took to Instagram to share a cryptic note on suffering.

Sushant was found dead at his Mumbai home on June 14, 2020.

After the actor’s demise, Rhea was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and spent a month in the Byculla jail in Mumbai.

She was later released on bail.

After a long social media break, the actress came back to Instagram in March, and shared a picture with her mother.

Now, weeks ahead of Sushant’s death anniversary, Rhea posted a cryptic note, asked fans to “hang in there”.

“From great suffering, comes great strength! You’ll just have to trust me on this one.. Hang in there Love Rhea (sic),” read Rhea’s note.

Rhea was arrested in September 2020. Her brother, Showik Chakraborty was also arrested by the NCB. Rhea was released from the Byculla jail in October 2020 and her brother was released in December.

On May 9, Rhea celebrated her mother’s birthday and shared a note for her on the gram.

Rhea wrote: “My beautiful Maa, I remember you said this to me when I was a little girl – ‘Happiness is within you , don’t look for it outside , find love in your heart and you’ll be a happy girl forever!’ This carried me through life Maa, I promise I am trying my best. Happy Mother’s Day to all Mothers , we love you (sic).”
