NEW DELHI: Consumer electronics giant Samsung is expected to launch its new true wireless earbuds along with its next-generation foldable smartphones and smartwatch series at the next Galaxy Unpacked event.
The company is expected to host the Galaxy Unpacked event next month where it is said to launch its affordable true wireless earbuds — Galaxy Buds 2 — as well.
Now a new leak suggests that the upcoming pair of true wireless earbuds from Samsung will offer active noise cancellation. According to popular tipster Ice Universe, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 will support active noise cancellation.
Presently, the company offers active noise cancellation in Galaxy Buds Pro and Galaxy Buds Live and the Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Buds+ come with passive noise suppression.
The leakster also reveals that the yet-to-launch Galaxy Buds 2 will come with silicone ear tips.
The earbuds will also feature Ambient Sound mode which keeps the users aware of the surrounding noise.
The Galaxy Buds 2 are said to come with an 11mm driver unit which will offer an enhanced bass experience. Samsung is expected to price the Galaxy Buds 2 at $170 (Rs 12,690). Customers will also be able to purchase the Galaxy Buds 2 in three different colour options — white, purple and green.
