Samsung rolls out Android 12 update for two year old smartphone – Times of India

Samsung has a history of rolling out timely Android updates for its smartphones. The company has now started rolling out Android 12 update for its two year old smartphone. The South Korean smartphone maker has started rolling out Android 12 update for Samsung Galaxy A11. Along with the Android 12 update, the smartphone will also received Samsung One UI 4.1.
The Android 12 update for Samsung Galaxy A11 comes with firmware version A115FXXU3CVI3 and it also brings security patch for the month of August 2022. With the Android 12 update, the Galaxy A22 users will also receive Samsung One UI 4.1 update. With the One UI 4.0, users will get improved stock apps, Material You dynamic colour themes, lock screen widgets, dedicated quick settings toggles for switching off-camera and microphone access and new widget designs. The update is also claimed to enhance the security and privacy of the devices.
Samsung Galaxy A11 specifications
Samsung Galaxy A22 features a 6.4-inch HD+ display with 720×1560 pixel resolution. The smartphone packs an octa-core processor coupled with 2GB/3GB RAM. The smartphone packs 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 512GB by installing a microSD card.
The dual SIM smartphone came out of the box with Android 11 operating system topped with Samsung’s own layer of customisation. Samsung Galaxy A22 comes with a triple rear camera setup with a 13MP main sensor, 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens and 2MP depth sensor. There is also an 8MP selfie shooter in the front.
The smartphone comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 4000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
