There were rumours that Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Shaikh had been separated for over a year now. While there was no clarity on their split, the couple had time and again maintained that they wish the best for each other.
Now, reports suggest that the two have been officially divorced with the custody of their daughter with Shaikh. A source close to the couple says that it’s been around nine months since the divorce papers came through and they have, since then, moved on in their respective lives.
Aamir and Sanjeeda first tied the knot in 2012 after dating for two years. The two had been one of the most sought-after couples in the telly world. However, in 2020, things were not well with them. While there is no clarity on the reason behind the split, it was revealed recently that they had a daughter together via surrogacy. Sanjeeda is currently living with her daughter at her paternal house. Both Aamir and Sanjeeda do not wish to give any official statement, according to a close friend.
