SBI Clerk Recruitment 2021: Last date to register for 5000 Junior Associates posts extended to May 20, apply here – Times of India

The SBI had released the notification for the recruitment of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) on its official website – https://sbi.co.in.

The Bank, along with extending the last date has also relased guidelines for production of “Income and Asset Certificate” by EWS candidates.

The notice reads: “The EWS candidates are required to produce for verification, the ‘Income & Assets Certificate’ for the relevant financial year as per the extant DoPT guidelines, on the date of document verification, which shall be intimated to the provisionally selected candidates by the Bank. Hence, the ‘Income & Assets Certificate’ for the relevant financial year can be obtained by the candidate on or before the date of document verification. No request for extension of time for production of ‘Income & Assets Certificate’ beyond the said date shall be entertained and if a candidate fails to produce the ‘Income & Assets Certificate’ on the date of document verification, he / she will not be considered for appointment in the Bank for the post of Junior Associates (Customer Support & sales).”

The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular state, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in the specified opted local language of that State/UT/Special area. The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process.

Preliminary Examination will be conducted tentatively in the month of June 2021 and main examination will be conducted tentatively on July 31, 2021. Candidates are advised to check regularly Bank’s website https://bank.sbi/careers or https://www.sbi.co.in/careers for details and updates. The examination will be as detailed under point No. 4 under Selection procedure.

The selection process will consist of on-line test (Preliminary & Main exam) and test of specified opted local language.
