BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Cumberlands’ (Ky.) Carlee Shoemaker has been named the Mid-South Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.
Houchens Industries is the proud sponsor of the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Houchens Industries was founded in 1917 and is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States with more than 18,000 corporate-wide employees.
Carlee Shoemaker – Cumberlands (Ky.) – JR – Central City, Ky.
- Shoemaker captured her fourth-consecutive tournament win at the MSC Spring classic.
- She finished the tournament with a two-round score of 144 (E) to earn medalist honors.
- During the final round, Shoemaker secured two straight birdies on the final two holes to solidify the win by one stroke.
- Shoemaker earns weekly honors for the sixth time this season and 10th time in her career.
