Singapore to Resume JFK, San Francisco Flights in November

Singapore Airlines will restart two routes to the U.S. in November, which will bring its U.S. route network to just under two-thirds of pre-pandemic levels, the carrier announced.

The airline’s service from Singapore to Frankfurt with continuing service to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport will begin on Nov. 1. Flights to San Francisco via Hong Kong will begin the next day. The timing coincides with the Biden administration’s announcement that it will lift current restrictions, including on travelers from Europe, for fully vaccinated travelers in November.

Singapore Airlines plans to restore additional U.S. service, including flights to Houston and Seattle, “as operating and regulatory conditions permit,” according to the carrier.
