Sony SRS-XP700, SRS-XP500 and SRS-XG500 wireless party speakers launched, price starts at Rs 26,990 – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Sony has expanded its audio product lineup with the launch of its new wireless portable speakers. The company has launched Sony SRS-XP700, SRS-XP500 and SRS-XG500 Bluetooth speakers in India. All the three are usual party speakers and they come with Sony’s own X-Balanced speaker units with Mega Bass and Live Sound mode.
All three Bluetooth speakers will go on sale starting August 10. Sony SRS-XP700 is priced at Rs 26,900, while the SRS-XP500 and the SRS-XG500 are priced at Rs 32,990 and Rs 32,990 respectively.
Sony will also be giving some pre-booking offers to the customers. The buyers who will pre-book any of these models between August 10 and August 16 will get a Sony F-V120//C microphone worth Rs 1490 for free.
Customers can pre-book the Bluetooth speakers from Sony retail stores, wwww.ShopatSC.com and all the major offline and online stores in the country.
All three Bluetooth speakers come with a cylindrical design. The SRS-XP700 and the SRS-XP500 can stand vertically to create a party ambience, while the SRS-XG500 comes with a boombox like design.
The wireless speakers come with Sony’s X-Balance technology and non-circular diaphragm. As per Sony, the Bluetooth speakers will produce less distorted sound by maximising the area of the speaker. The Mega Bass feature of the speakers promise to offer enhanced bass and the Live Sound mode offers surround sound like experience.
The three wireless speakers come with IP rating which makes them dust and water-resistant. The Sony SRS-XG500 promises to offer 30 hours of music playback on a single charge. On the other hand, the Sony SRS-XP700 and the SRS-XG500 claim to offer 25 hours and 20 hours of battery backup respectively.
