If your TalkTalk broadband isn’t working you’re not alone. It seems the popular service is having issues this afternoon with some parts of the UK facing an internet blackout.
The gremlins appear to have started at around 2.30 pm with areas around the East Midlands suffering from the internet outage.
Independent tracking website DownDetector, which monitors mentions across social media to track when web services and services are offline, suggesting that hundreds of customers are currently experiencing an outage with TalkTalk broadband.
The firm has also now confirmed it has an issue, with its status page saying, “We’re aware that some customers in and around the East Midlands are currently experiencing a loss of service.
“We’d like to apologise for any inconvenience caused during this time and assure you that our engineers are working to restore service as a priority.”
