The 34-year-old is widely regarded as the best shooter in NBA history and some, like Curry’s Warriors teammate Andre Igoudala, believe that Curry is the best point guard in NBA history, better than even Magic Johnson.

And the legend of Stephen Curry grew on Thursday when his team Golden State Warriors defeated Boston Celtics 103-90 in Game 6 of the NBA Finals to win the NBA Championship.

Curry, who had 34 points on 12 of 21 shooting in Game 6, set a career record for 3-pointers. Curry had two league MVP (Most valuable player) awards under his belt earlier, but he has finally got his hands on the coveted finals MVP trophy for the first time in his NBA career, thanks to an unanimous vote.

This is the Warriors’ seventh NBA title overall and the fourth for Curry, who has been with the Golden State Warriors since his NBA debut in 2009. He is also an eight time All Star player.
