Kapoor, a former McKinsey consultant, has broken into the crest of Oyo. He has been tasked with running half of Oyo’s business worldwide, even as the company holds on to its global ambitions despite setbacks. While the hospitality unicorn has broadened its geographic base, it has its work cut out if it has to reach the public-listing milestone.
