This is how the first ‘notchless’ iPhone may look like – Times of India

Apple is already reported to be working on a smaller notch for its upcoming iPhone. The company is even rumoured to be working on a completely notchless smartphone. The latter seems to have been featured in a TV Show called Ted Lasso starring Jason Sudeikis on Apple TV+, according to a report by PhoneArena.
In the Season 2 episode 6 named The Signal of the comedy show, a notchless iPhone has been spotted by viewers, who then took Twitter to highlight that the new iPhone has surfaced in the show without the infamous notch.
The notchless iPhone has surfaced not once but twice in the same episode. Both times, the iPhone had the usual iOS interface but without a notch.

Now, it is unclear whether this is one of the models of the upcoming iPhone 13 series which is set to arrive in September this year. Or a prototype of future iPhone models. Rumours have already suggested that Apple is expected to introduce a smaller notch with iPhone 13 series and ditch the notch completely in coming years in favour of under-display technologies like under-display camera, Face ID or Touch ID.
The iPhone 13 launch is just a couple of weeks away and it is highly unlikely that Apple will pitch probably the most important change feature of the upcoming iPhones via a product placement in a TV show.
PhoneArena has also reported that in one scene, the back of the alleged iPhone 13 has also surfaced with a fake looking camera module which apparently looks like iPhone 11’ housing.
Meanwhile, whether Apple will announce the notch less iPhone this year or not, we will only get to know at the Apple event expected to happen next month. The official date for the same has not been announced yet, but several leaks and rumours are suggesting September 14 as the event date. Take this as a pinch of salt, unless Apple starts sending the official invites for the event.
