Unknown POCO phone will soon launch in India | Digit

A new listing for a POCO smartphone has appeared on the BIS website. The listing offers no information apart from the model number – POCO 22127PC95I.

An unknown POCO phone that has the model number 22127PC95I was spotted on the Indian BIS certification by known tipster Mukul Sharma. This is an intriguing piece of news as the certification doesn’t tell us anything about the marketing name of the device. There are, however, speculations that it might be a premium mid-range flagship device.

What is the POCO 22127PC95I?

There hasn’t been any news about the POCO 22127PC95I phone before this. The BIS certification offers no insights into the device, and a lot of people believe it could be a rebranded Redmi phone.

POCO X5 5G updates

The POCO X5 5G recently got certified on the IMDA and China’s 3C website. This is the successor to the POCO X4 and is a part of the mid-range segment. The certification confirms that the model number is 22101320C. It is believed that it will support 67W fast charging, just like the POCO X4 5G.

The FCC listing states that the POCO X5 5G will pack a 5000 mAh battery. It will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC, with the MIUI 14 OS that’s based on Android 13. The display has a 120Hz IPS LCD display. The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website has a POCO X5 listing.
