Warzone Still Keeps Restarting on Xbox But a Fix Is Already in the Works

Call of Duty Warzone still keeps restarting on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 consoles while nothing on the player end could fix the issue.

While the players were excited for a great new chapter in the world of Call of Duty Warzone after moving from Verdansk to Caldera Pacific, the new map wasn’t exactly what the fans would expect from the developers.

Not only the map was disliked by a significant part of the community but also it brought some new problems to the game that players wouldn’t have to deal with them earlier.

Caldera Pacific launched with some annoying technical issues on PC and consoles, and while the PC players seem to have a relatively stable experience after the previous updates, the game is almost unplayable for console users.

Raven Software Is Working on a Fix for Console Performance as Warzone Keeps Restarting on Xbox and PlayStation

The most significant problem that Warzone players have been facing recently is the sudden game crashes, which almost prevent players from successfully landing onto the map after the beginning of the game.

The problem is even more critical on next-gen consoles, including Xbox Series X|S and PS5. As some of the players have reported on Reddit already, re-installing the game, clearing console cache, and even deleting the saved data have not fixed the issue for them on Xbox.

Hopefully, Raven Software has officially shared a statement through the Call of Duty Twitter account recently, claiming that a fix for the console performance is already in the works, though a release date for the update is yet to be revealed.

So, all you can do right now is to wait for an official hotfix from the developers rather than trying to fix the issue on your own as it is clearly a problem with the game not with your consoles.

Call of Duty Warzone is now available for free on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
