Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya used WWE Hall Of Famer The Undertaker’s entrance during his walkout at UFC 276. Adesanya defended his crown against Jarod Cannonier at the event.

The Undertaker’s entrance has been considered to be one of the best entrances in the wrestling business. Since making his debut at the Survivor Series event in 1990, whenever the Hall Of Famer has used ‘The Deadman’ gimmick, he has always come out to the ring with his iconic theme song and special lighting.

Now, the UFC Middleweight Champion, Adesanya, decided to use The Undertaker’s entrance at the UFC 276 event. With the likes of Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H in attendance, the Last Stylebender arrived at the octagon wearing the WWE Hall Of Famer’s hat and had The Undertaker’s theme music playing in the background. He also carried a gold urn, another item synonymous with the former WWE Champion, to the octagon and it had his UFC 276 opponent’s name written on it.

At UFC 276, Adesanya successfully defended his Middleweight crown against Cannonier in the main event of the night. The Last Stylebender retained his title via unanimous decision as he outscored his opponent to secure the win.

The judges scored the contest 49-46, 49-46 and 50-45 in favour of Adesanya. The main event seemed like an easy day at the office for the UFC Middleweight Champion, as he outstruck Cannonier 163-141 in the fight and even had a 116-90 advantage in terms of significant strikes.

Adesanya gave credit to his opponent’s coach after the fight, saying that they had an excellent game plan.

“They had an excellent game plan. It was really hard to get my follow-ups going,” said Adesanya.

The UFC Middleweight Champion also signalled his intention to fight Alex Pereira, who also competed at UFC 276 and secured a knockout win over Sean Strickland.
