water purifier: LG launches UF+UV Water Purifier in India at Rs 20,299 – Times of India
LG Electronics has expanded its water purifier portfolio with the launch of the UF+UV Water Purifier in India. The LG UF+UV Water Purifier will be available at a price of Rs 20,299.
LG is extending complimentary premium service once a year along with one-time replacement of the outside filter and digital sterilisation for its consumers of UF + UV Water Purifier.
Seven-stage filtration
The new LG UF+UV Water Purifier is designed to filter the water in seven stages which removes seven harmful heavy metals: Mercury, Lead, Arsenic, Cadmium, Iron, Chromium and Copper. To address this problem, the LG UF+UV Water Purifier comes with a Heavy Metal Removal (HMR) filter. As per LG, the UF+UV Water Purifier can remove dissolved solids present in water that are invisible to the naked eye.
Post Carbon filter and other features
The purifier comes with the all-new Post Carbon Filter, a technology that uses electrostatic absorption to eliminate viruses from the water. It has also got features like Virus Clean+ and UF filtration which are claimed to remove around 99.99% of the viruses. LG claims that the Ultra Filtration does not affect the TDS of the water and ensures zero wastage of water.
