Wilson Named NAIA Football Special Teams Player of the Week

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – St. Thomas’ (Fla.) Kendall Wilson has been named the NAIA Football Special Teams Player of the Week, the national office announced Monday.

The national honor comes after Wilson was named the MSC Sun Division Special Teams Player of the Week earlier today.

Wilson blocked two punts in the Bobcats’ 27-7 victory over Webber International (Fla.). One of his blocked punts he ran back for a 12-yard touchdown.

He earns national weekly honors for the first time in his career.
