Xiaomi 12S Ultra Launches With a 1-inch sensor and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC | Digit

Xiaomi 12S Ultra has arrived along with Xiaomi 12S and Xiaomi 12S Pro. The company had ditched its efforts on Xiaomi 12 Ultra whose alleged images had leaked multiple times. Instead, here we have the 12S Ultra which has a 1-inch camera sensor, Leica optics, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, 67W fast charging, 2K 120Hz AMOLED display, and Android 12 with MIUI 13.

Xiaomi has outfitted the 12S Ultra with a 6.73” E5 AMOLED 2K panel with 1-120Hz adaptive sync support.

The front camera is a 32MP selfie shooter. The back cameras, meanwhile, consist of a 50MP main camera (with a 1-inch sensor), a 48MP ultrawide, a 48MP 120mm 5x periscope zoom,  and a 3D ToF depth sensor. In the camera department, you also get the Leica lens, Leica filters, Dolby Vision HDR, HyperOIS, and up to 8K HDR video recording.

The processor under the hood is the latest Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, and Android 12 with MIUI 13.

The battery size is 4860mAh with 67W charging support.

Among other things, you also get an in-display fingerprint reader, USB-C 2.0, WiFi 6e, Bluetooth 5.2, NavIC, dual stereo speakers, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

Xiaomi 12S Ultra is exclusive to China at CNY 5,999 (~₹70,829) for the 8/256GB variant, CNY 6,499 (~₹76,732) for the 12/256GB model, and CNY 6999 (~₹82,636) for the 12/512GB unit. It is available there in Green and Black colors.
