Xiaomi has brought a new television – the Xiaomi TV ES Pro 86-inch – to China. The Xiaomi TV ES Pro comes as the latest premium offering from Xiaomi in the television segment. The new Xiaomi TV measures at 86-inches and comes with 1,000-level backlighting and 4,096-level precision dimming technology, giving a peak brightness of 1,000 nits.
The TV ES Pro 86-inch price in China is CNY 8,499 (Rs 98,400). Xiaomi is currently taking pre-orders for the TV in China, and the open sale is set to begin on May 31. There is no word if the Xiaomi TV ES Pro 86-inch would be available outside China or not.
Xiaomi’s TV ES Pro 86-inch comes with an 86-inch 4K IPS LCD panel with a 3840×2160 pixels resolution, a refresh rate of 120Hz and covers 94 per cent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. The TV comes with support for Dolby Vision. Further, the TV ES Pro 86-inch offers AMD FreeSync Premium and 120Hz MEMC motion compensation.
The Xiaomi TV ES Pro 86-inch comes equipped with an eight-speaker setup, including active and passive drivers. The total output of the speaker setup on the TV is 30W. Further, the TV supports Dolby Audio and DTS-HD.
Under the hood, the TV ES Pro 86-inch is powered by a quad-core Cortex-A73 CPU paired with Mali-G52 MC1 GPU. The TV comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It runs MIUI TV out-of-the-box. Connectivity options include HDMI 2.1, 2x HDMI 2.0, 2x USB ports, AVI input, S/PDIF interface, and an Ethernet port. The TV also supports Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band WiFi.
